Where are you located?
We are located at 1972 Windsor Rd, off Spall Rd. We operate one location under the name Battery Doctors & Kelowna Recycling.
What do you accept?

Do you accept large appliances?
No. You can take them to the Glenmore Landfill, Knox Mountain Metal, ABC Recycling or Westside Transfer Station.
Do you take waste oil, or other automotive fluids?
No. You can take waste oil and coolant to any Jiffy Lube location. You should call ahead to confirm that they can accept it.
Do you accept cardboard, plastic, glass, etc.?

Do you accept fire extinguishers?
No. You can take fire extinguishers to Nutech Safety Ltd. at 1855 Kirschner Rd. There is a $10 disposal fee per cylinder.
Do you accept tires?
No. You can take tires to Top Grade Tire Recycling on McCurdy Rd. You can inquire with them about disposal fees.
Do you accept compressed gas cylinders, or propane tanks?
No. Empty or defunct compressed cylinders are usually managed by the same companies that sell full cylinders. You can contact a welding or gas supply company to inquire about disposal options through them. Propane tanks are accepted for a fee at the Glenmore Landfill. Report to the scale attendant to inquire about fees for each size of cylinder.
Do I need an appointment for large loads?
No. You do not need to make an appointment, but we ask that you call ahead so we can confirm details about the materials before you arrive.
Can you repair or diagnose lithium E-Bike batteries?
No. We do not repair or diagnose lithium E-Bike batteries. All E-Bike batteries are serviced only by the manufacturer. We only accept them for free recycling. Do you purchase scrap vehicles, or catalytic converters?
No. We do not accept vehicles or catalytic converters. We will accept starters, alternators, radiators, and electric motors if you have them fully removed from the vehicle.
What are your metal prices?

Do you sell batteries?
Yes. We sell all types of lead-acid and household batteries for any of your applications. We also carry a selection of premium lithium RV, Golf Cart, Off-Grid, and Backup Power batteries. Please use our “Have a Question?” link on our homepage and list all the information you have about the application or use case, and we will respond promptly with the options we offer. We do not sell small electronic item batteries containing Ni-Cad, Ni-Mh, or lithium batteries.
Do you offer pick-up services for electronics, or hazardous waste?
No. All residential and public recycling is by drop-off only. If you are a commercial company with a large volume of material for drop-off, please contact us using our “Have a Question?” link on our homepage to inquire about booking a pick-up. Large volume pick-ups are subject to case-by-case pricing.
